My experience with this product:
The first time I applied this serum, I was quite amazed to see my face shine free and glowing whole day. The serum is white in color and gets absorbed into the skin within seconds of application. It has a very mild floral fragrance which is quite pleasant and soothing to the senses. During my initial days of usage, I applied this serum regularly and could literally notice the difference it made to my skin.
In just 2 weeks I could see my pores tightened and my skin evenly pigmented and much brighter. But after regular use of 15 days, I started getting small pimples on my T-zone. I have oily-combination skin, so it didn't take me much time to figure out that this serum was getting too rich for my oily zone. I immediately stopped using the serum and had to mend the pimples for a couple of days. After this experience, I began using the serum again, but in a very controlled way. I usually apply this serum only on weekends i.e. after a span of 4-5 days and it has worked excellently in showing diligent results on my skin, without causing any side effects at all.
Likes:
1) Comes in a lovely attractive packaging, with a dropper like applicator. You just need to push the top of the cap to let the dropper fill in with the serum, open the lid and pour drops on your fingers.
2) Since it is a serum, it just needs 2 drops to cover your entire face, and another 1 drop for the neck.
3) Has a lovely floral fragrance which I like a lot.
4) It is quite a rich serum and has worked excellently in toning my skin, tightening my pores and making my face look brighter and much better. Using it every weekend is like a treat to my skin, and my skin feels much relaxed the very next day of this serum's application.
5) Though a bit expensive, the serum would last you long because of its consistency and usage routine.
Dislikes:
1) The only problem that I've felt about this serum is that it can't be used as a daily skin treatment. It is extremely rich and might cause breakouts if used daily. You need to fix a certain interval of days in which you can treat your skin with this, and that I feel may vary from skin to skin.
2) Lancôme tests its products on animals.
Overall verdict:
I absolutely love this serum. I take it as a magic potion which I give to skin after regular intervals, and it has really worked well with me that way. I'd definitely recommend this serum to you, provided you make it work the way I have done!! :) And if there is any other way you find, then please do let me know!
