Happy New Year!

I've done it. I've taken out the trash .. literally. Its been a whirlwind of a year - its gone by too quickly and whilst I am sad about seeing it go - I am looking forward to 2015! Yes despite my ability to lapse into being a miserable old cod (at times) - sometimes I too can be one of those sickly positive folk - depending on who you speak to and whether or not they have offended me in the last 5 years (knowingly or unknowingly). Psyche I'm joking (or am I?). Well I believe in forgiveness (although its -just - so - hard) but I do forgive. Anyway ...

Whilst I sit here sipping on champagne ...oh ok Ribena ... ok I'm sipping on nothing. Ahem. Amongst all my zillions of friends ... ok with my sister .. my cat ... fine on my own - I can't help but feel great about what 2015 will be like. I'm so grateful for all I have, my faith, my family, friends ... basically everything. Like I say in many of my posts where I ramble-talk - life is short, its beautiful, its precious - filled with adventure and yes it has pain. Yet I won't let the negative deter me and it shouldn't deter you either, from living in the present - its a gift - cherish it. 

Now now - do I have any resolutions? Yes and no ... You all know how my 'shopping my stash challenge' went last time (cheeks burn). I don't think I'm going to dive head first into that again but, I am delving into minimalism which is curbing some of my consistent consumerist habits (hallelujah). 

Plans for the blog?

I do have plans for this blog - hoping to inject more of myself into it - are you getting a waft of me yet? Being more creative - publishing long overdue posts, trying to be regular and letting you into my boring and mundane exciting and enthralling world (lol oh how I lie). So expect posts about making cups of tea and watching paint dry - I know you can't wait ... Fine I'm being a bit silly but yes, I think I can broaden posts a little more to encapsulate some of my daily dealings (what I've been up to) ... Besides I'm hoping to do more - so a little documentation should motivate me ...

Um oh and like the tittle says I hope to be travlin (aka travelling - yeah I do know how to spell ... some words) in 2015 - who knows where but it will happen 

Anyway thank you all for being readers of my blog - it means a lot. Have a fantastic New Year, I wish you all the best that life can give you - bless you all!!
